Do you make up the drink with water or milk?
You can mix Whey Protein with either water, milk or a milk substitute of your choice such as coconut, soy or rice milk. We’ve perfected the taste to combine with 200ml of water but you can add more to suit your needs.

Does this taste like a milkshake?
Whey Protein is a silky smooth milkshake like drink but you can change the texture of the drink by using less or more fluids.

Can I use Whey Protein for any sport?
Yes! Whey Protein can be used as a daily protein shake to help you build or maintain muscle mass. It’s perfect to use on easy or harder training days to help repair your muscles straight after all types of training and can be used for any sport, whether that’s cycling, running, football or a gym workout.

When should I use Whey Protein?
Whey Protein has been designed to be the convenient, tasty way to help you reach your daily protein goals in and around your training. For best results, you should consume one serving within 20 minutes of finishing exercise. You can also have another one or two servings any time of day as a snack.

How many grams of protein per serving?
Whey Protein contains 21g protein per serving.

Is this product Vegetarian/Vegan?
Whey Protein contains whey protein concentrate from milk, making it suitable for vegetarians but not vegans.

Why should I use Whey Protein instead of a Recovery Drink?
Whey Protein has been designed to use on a daily basis to support your protein goals. It’s important to include protein in your diet on a daily basis but when exercising your bodies demand for protein increases. It’s not always easy to consume lots of meat or other food items containing protein so our Whey Protein offers a convienient alternative particularly if your rushing about your daily routine. Recovery Drink is ideal after high intensity training sessions, it’s important to replenish your muscle’s glycogen stores with fast release carbohydrates as well as protein. Recovery Drink contains over 20g of carbohydrate per serving as well as whey protein isolate, making it ideal for endurance recovery. Whey protein has 21g protein but is much lower in carbohydrates making it perfect for daily use.

Does this product contain caffeine?
Whey Protein does not contain caffeine.

Is this product natural?
Whey Protein contains natural flavourings but also contain sucrolose as a sweetener.

Does it come with a scoop?
Yes, all our bulk drink powders come with a scoop. Use 2 scoops per serving.

Is Whey protein drug free/free from banned substances?
As part of our Drugs Free policy, we provide some products that have been batch tested. Unfortunately we don’t have Whey Protein available right now but you can purchase other HIGH5 products that have been tested for substances on the WADA Prohibited List here. The main manufacturing site for HIGH5 products, where we make our gels and powders, is Informed Manufacturer certified. We do not use banned ingredients in HIGH5 products and have a 100% proven track record: no athlete has ever tested positive from using a HIGH5 product.
