Tear the top of the sachet and drink the gel directly from the sachet. Take up to three sachets per hour during exercise, less if you are also using a sports drink.

When exercising it’s important to stay hydrated so we recommend using this product alongside ZERO.

What flavours do I get in this pack?
This mixed flavour pack contains 20 gels, split between Energy Gel – Berry, Orange, Apple, Citrus & Mango- and Energy Gel Caffeine – Raspberry & Orange.

Is this product Vegetarian/Vegan?
Yes, Energy Gel is suitable for both vegetarians and vegans.

Does this product contain caffeine?
This pack contains gels with and without caffeine. Energy Gel Caffeine contains caffeine (30mg per gel). We do not recommended this product for children or pregnant women. Energy Gel does not contain caffeine.

Is this product natural?
Energy Gel contains natural flavourings and no colourings or artificial sweeteners.

Can you recycle HIGH5 packaging?
We now offer different ways to help recycle our single-use packaging (this includes Energy Gel and Energy Bar wrappers) which aren’t widely recyclable through traditional recycling facilities. Read more about the scheme here.

Is it okay to take Energy Gel and follow with water or ZERO?
You should consume gels with appropriate fluid intake to stay hydrated as is recommended whenever you take part in sports activity. You can use ZERO instead of water.

Which HIGH5 gel to choose: Energy Gel or Energy Gel Aqua?
There is no right or wrong answer: they both do the same job; it’s simply down to personal preference. Energy Gel Aqua has a lighter consistency – somewhere between a drink and a gel. Whereas Energy Gel is less bulky and lighter in weight, which makes it easier to carry in larger quantities.

Is Energy Gel drug free/free from banned substances?
As part of our Drugs Free policy, we provide some products that have been batch tested. To purchase Energy Gel from a batch that has been tested for substances on the WADA Prohibited List, please go here. The main manufacturing site for HIGH5 products, where we make our gels and powders, is Informed Sport certified. We do not use banned ingredients in HIGH5 products and have a 100% proven track record: no athlete has ever tested positive from using a HIGH5 product.
